Went to the Pages book shop. Luckily came over "Where the rain is born", edited by Anita Nair and published by Penguin Books.The book is a collection of short stories, essays, poems and extracts on Kerala from published works of different renowned writers. The writers include Vaikom Muhammad Basheer, Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai, O.V.Vijayan, M.T.Vasudevan Nair, Arundhati Roy, Kamala Das, Alexander Frater, and others.
Read a few lines from the book. Loved it. Bought the book without any second thoughts. Hope the ongoing monsoon rains continue till I finish this book.
